Our main surgery at Wilkinson Way,
Preesall is open weekdays from 7.30am to 6.30pm (till 8.00pm Mondays and Wednesdays). Surgeries are available mornings,
afternoons and early evenings.
Hambleton branch surgery is open each weekday morning; the opening hours are varied, but core time is 9.00 to 10.00am. The branch is also normally open on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons.

surgeries can be made by telephoning 810722, or enquiring in person at either
surgery.
Extended Access
In response to a Government initiative we have extended our opening hours every morning and two evenings per week (see above) and we no longer close for lunch. This additional time is for pre-booked routine appointments only and is aimed at, but not limited to, our working practice population. Emergency treatment is still provided by Fylde Coast Medical Services outside our core hours.
Out-Of-Hours

Our practice is a member of FCMS (Fylde Coast Medical
Services) Ltd, a GP co-operative which provides an out-of-hours service for genuine
emergencies after 6.30pm and at weekdays and bank holidays.
For urgent
attention out of hours, telephone 305895. The out-of-hours service is based at
Whitegate Drive, Blackpool. It is staffed in rota by local GPs. Urgent cases fit
to travel will be seen at the Primary Care Centre, Whitegate Drive. If the doctor
decides, on medical grounds, that a home visit is necessary, this will be arranged.

DISABLED
ACCESS
The Over Wyre Medical Centre at Preesall is a single storey, purpose-built
building with ramp access for the disabled. There is also a toilet facility for
those patients using wheelchairs. If access proves difficult to any of our disabled
patients we would be happy to consider any suggestions for improvement.
