Staff
In
addition to the seven doctors, the staff of the Over Wyre medical centre includes
a practice manager (Lynda Lightowler), secretary, reception and administrative
staff, two nurse practitioners, practice nurses, health care assistants and dispensers.
Attached Staff
In addition to the staff mentioned above, the Primary Care Trust also employs a number of staff who work from within the medical centre. These include district nurses, health visitors, midwife, physiotherapist, podiatrist, alcohol counsellor and an adult mental health counsellor. A smoking cessation advice service is also available.
