HOW DO I...
OBTAIN TELEPHONE ADVICE?
We
offer patients the option of a telephone consultation with a doctor. You will
be given an appointment time and the doctor will phone you as near as possible
to this time as circumstances allow. This option has proved very popular with
people who are at work, or parents with young children.
HOW DO I...
MAKE AN APPOINTMENT?
Appointments may be made by telephoning 810722 or in person at the surgery
and may be made up to two weeks in advance. This enables us to offer you an appointment
at a time suitable to your requirements. If you cannot keep an appointment, please
inform us as soon as possible as we may be able to offer it to someone else.
HOW DO I...
OBTAIN AN URGENT CONSULTATION?
If you consider your problem to be urgent and cannot wait for a routine appointment we are able to offer urgent same-day consultations.
HOW DO I...
OBTAIN A HOME VISIT?
Requests for non-urgent home visits should be made before 11.00am. Emergency
visits only will be arranged after that time. Please give the receptionist as
much information as possible to enable the doctor to allocate priority to house
calls. Please remember that several patients can be seen at the surgery in the
time it takes to do a home visit.
Under the GP's conditions of service the doctor
has the right to decide whether a home visit is necessary. Details will be taken
and a doctor may ring to offer advice if appropriate.
